Preparation Classes
At The Learning Hive, we believe the early years set the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Our Preschool & Kindergarten Prep programs provide a warm, supportive, and engaging environment where children ages 2.5-5 build essential skills in:

Camps
At The Learning Hive, our day camps are the perfect mix of fun and learning for children ages 4–12. Whether it’s March Break or Summer, each camp is carefully designed to engage kids with hands-on activities, exciting themes, and opportunities to explore new interests. Birthday Parties

Space Rental
Looking for a flexible and welcoming venue for your next event? The Learning Hive’s space rental options are ideal for small to medium sized gatherings (think birthday parties, baby showers, or playgroups), workshops, meetings, or community events. Our bright and welcoming facilities include adaptable seating, a variety of table configurations, small kitchenette, and access to tools such as a projector or whiteboard upon request.

Homeschool Enrichment
At The Learning Hive, our Homeschool Enrichment Program (HEP) offers a child-centered approach to education that encourages academic progress at each child's individual pace. Designed for children aged 4 to 12, our program sparks curiosity while building on existing skills and nurturing new ones. Every child is guided toward one simple goal: progress.
Our vision is to cultivate a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning space where creativity, inspiration, and relevance meet. We tailor our curriculum to meet the present needs of our students while preparing them for their future aspirations.
The HEP operates part-time, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday, with flexible enrollment options for 2, 3, or 4 days per week. For families looking to expand their child's learning experience, afternoon electives (including Fine Art, Life Skills, and French) are available, along with supervised lunch and social time with peers before afternoon sessions begin at 1:00 PM.
Our program creates a literacy - and numeracy - rich environment, where a structured literacy approach based on the Science of Reading supports all learning. Multi-sensory, evidence-based math instruction is used to help students develop confidence in their mathematical thinking.
1:1 Tutoring
At The Learning Hive, we’re committed to supporting each student’s unique learning journey. Whether your child thrives with in-person instruction or prefers the convenience of virtual learning, we’ve got options to suit every family. Our full-service tutoring centre features flexible seating to create a comfortable and engaging environment for in-person learners, while our virtual tutoring sessions - available across Canada via Google Meet - bring expert support directly to your home.
We believe true progress comes with consistency and care. That’s why our tutoring programs run in thoughtfully designed terms, ranging from six to 14 weeks, ensuring your child builds skills that last:
Fall Term: September-December
Winter Term: January-April
Spring Mini Term: May-June
Summer Mini Term: July-August
Our lessons begin at age four, focusing on foundational skills like letter and number recognition, phonics, early reading, and spelling. Older learners can dive into sentence and paragraph structures, report writing, literature analysis, and math. Each 50-minute lesson is tailored to your child’s individual needs and interests, ensuring an engaging and personalized experience every time.
